Service Hours & Location Information

Tuesdays/Thursdays 9am – 12pm

  • We are currently operating as a drive-thru in the First Community Church parking lot.
    (Clients make walk/bike up if needed.)
  • Clients should enter the church parking lot through the driveway on First Ave
  • First come; first served. No appointments.

Client Requirements

  • Head of household must have a picture ID.
  • All members of a household must live at the same address.
  • If you are unable to appear in person, fill out this form and send it with the person who will pick up for you (case manager, neighbor, family, friend, etc.)
  • Upon check-in, clients must sign to confirm they qualify for food assistance as defined by the guidelines set forth by ODJFS for TEFAP.

Restrictions

  • There are no Zip Code restrictions.
  • Heart to Heart limits client visits to once every 30 days.

Goods Received

  • Dry goods are prepacked to provide roughly three days’ worth of meals to the household.
  • Clients are given the option to choose fresh produce, refrigerated items, frozen meat and personal care products, as available.
  • We will accommodate special diets as we are able, but cannot guarantee we will have specific items available at any given time.
  • Clients with dietary concerns should inform drive-thru workers at check-in.

Public Health Alert System Policy

Heart to Heart will make every attempt to remain open during regular business hours, unless Franklin County reaches a level 4 purple alert status. In the event we are closed, we will make note on our voicemail, on our Facebook page and on our webpage.

Inclement Weather Policy

Heart to Heart will make every attempt to remain open during regular business hours unless there is a Level 2 Snow Emergency in Franklin County. In the event we are closed, we will make note on our voicemail, on our Facebook page and here on our webpage. Volunteers for the day will be notified via email as soon as a decision to close has been made.

Financial Assistance

Heart to Heart cannot provide any financial assistance at this time. However, we would be more than happy to refer you to other programs and resources that may be able to assist you. If you cannot find the information you are looking for in the list of Additional Resources, please call and leave a detailed voicemail for us, and volunteers and staff will research the issue and get back to you as soon as we are able.
