News

Notice re: Turkey Donations

Our freezer space will already be full of frozen turkeys next week! Our volunteer, Kevin Orsini, worked out a great deal with Marc’s to donate dozens of turkeys to Heart to Heart. We are hopeful to get them all out of the freezers and into client homes before we close for the holiday.

While we are so appreciative of your donations, we cannot accept donations of any more frozen turkeys before Thanksgiving. We have limited freezer space, and they must remain frozen, or we must throw them away! If you have a frozen turkey to donate, please check with NNEMAP, Hilliard Food Pantry, Dublin Food Pantry, etc. They may be able to take your donation in time for Thanksgiving.

We are closed Wednesday through Friday of next week and cannot accept any donations during that time.  Our regular donation hours will resume on Monday, December 2: Mon 8:30 – 10:30 am, 4 – 6 pm, Wed 4 pm – 6 pm, Fri 9 am – 11 am. More info is available at h2h.FCchurch.com/donate!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Volunteer Training Opportunities

Mid-Ohio Food Collective Trainings

The Mid-Ohio Food Collective offers regular training opportunities for food pantry staff and volunteers. Trainings on FreshTrak and Food Safety will help you learn more about pantry operations and make you an even more effective volunteer! They also occasionally offer training on advocacy, and other topics that may be of interest to you.

For most trainings, volunteers will need to register with an agency name and number: Heart to Heart Agency #1042
