Jones v. Hastings
On Monday, January 13, Jones and Hastings Middle School faced off in their annual basketball rivalry game. While Hastings walked away with the win this year, Heart to Heart was the real winner. All attendees were encouraged to bring a donation for the food pantry. In all, families were able to donate a total of 409lbs of food. We are grateful to everyone in attendance and those who participated in the food drive! Special thanks to athletic directors Logan Erwin and Michael Schaefer for coordinating the food drive.
Thank You
Yes, you read that right! In the last quarter of 2019, our church, friends and community donated a total of $47,070. Thank you so much for helping us surpass our goal with the most ever raised during this match period. With the anonymous donor’s contribution, this means we raised $67,070 for Heart to Heart in the short period between October 1 and December 31. We are humbled by your generosity and dedication to service.
ARC Volunteers
At ARC Industries, the mission is to help people with disabilities achieve their life goals. ARC does that by supporting individuals as they access the community where they live and work, helping them develop independence, self-advocacy and skills important to employment and community membership. Recently, ARC has been volunteering at Heart to Heart. Theresa, pictured here, especially likes to work with Susan Westbrook in the quilting room. The quilts are created by volunteers and quilters from Prayers and Squares. They are then given to new or expectant mothers who are clients at the food pantry.
Out of Office
As you may know, our director Lamar Graham is on vacation through February 1. He will be visiting Georgetown, Guyanna, and we look forward to seeing the photos when he returns. In the meantime, should you have any questions or concerns, please contact Amy Caskie, Missions Administrator at (614) 488-0681 Ext. 106.
Holiday Closings
The church is closed Monday in observance of Martin Luther King day. However, Heart to Heart is open for our typical volunteer shifts. We will also be visited by several students from Ohio State as they perform their annual Day of Service.
Inclement Weather Policy
Heart to Heart will make every attempt to remain open during regular business hours unless there is a Level 3 Snow Emergency in Franklin County. In the event we are closed, we will make note on our voicemail, on our Facebook page and here on our webpage. Volunteers for the day will be notified via email as soon as a decision to close has been made.

require of you
